Electric Cooktops

Electric Cooktops

Miele electric cooktops provide exceptional performance and the flexibility to accommodate any kitchen design. Our Ceran surfaces are designed to resist heat transfer, allowing areas outside the rings to stay cool to the touch. Residual heat indicators warn if a surface is too hot to handle even after the burner has been turned off. All Miele cooktops also feature a surface that is lower than the frame to capture any liquids if a pot boils over. The sealed surface and controls also make clean-up an easy task.

The gas cooktops from Miele deliver in every aspect. Designed to make operation easy, the unique control configurations provide access to all the burners without interference and the stylish grate design allows pots and pans to be easily transferred from one burner to another. These designs seamlessly integrate into any traditional, contemporary or modern kitchen. High-quality cast iron grates, stainless steel surfaces and BTU outputs of up to 15,300 BTU/hr underline the importance of quality and performance for Miele.

Induction Cooktops

Induction Cooktops

The Miele induction cooktops offer a distinctive, non-contact method of heating using magnetic fields to transfer energy directly to cookware. The induction element stays cool, while the target object heats rapidly for extremely efficient heating. Miele induction cooktops offer the benefits of a gas flame, including rapid heat-up and cool down, without the concerns of gas and other types of electric heating. With no open flame, there is no excess heat introduced into the working environment resulting in a cooler work space.

Safety is one of the key advantages of induction cooking: elements on without ferrous material equals no heat and if a cooking zone is turned on without a pot on it, the zone will not be powered. Since the only part of the cooktop that heats up is covered by a pot or pan, spills wont bake on which makes clean-up as easy as wiping with a damp cloth!

Combi-Sets

Combi-Sets

One of the most difficult decisions when selecting a cooking surface is what type to use. Should it be electric or gas? Glass or steel? With the Miele CombiSet program, you can have it all.

The modular design lets you pick and choose which surfaces to cook with. Some recipes work better over gas, while for others, a wok would be more appropriate. Each unit has the identical depth, so the modules combine easily to form a single, uniform surface. This allows you to design a cooking surface with units positioned exactly where you want them to be. The modules can also be installed individually; letting you place burners anywhere in the kitchen.
